With iPhone still making half of Apples revenue Apple needs to find a new “money maker”, with the shelving of the “Apple car”, Apple has turned to home robotics hoping to gain quick market share in this emerging market.

“With robotics, Apple could gain a bigger foothold in consumers’ homes and capitalize on advances in artificial intelligence. But it’s not yet clear what approach it might take. Though the robotic smart display is much further along than the mobile bot, it has been added and removed from the company’s product road map over the years, according to the people.”

NAB Banker stops $6m scam

The NSW woman in her 50s walked into a bank branch in Erina on the Central Coast to transfer $6 million to a conveyancer after receiving an invoice to secure a property. The only problem was, the invoice didn’t actually come from the conveyancer.

The conveyancer’s email address had likely been hacked by scammers, who then tried to encourage the woman to hand over the hefty sum of money by using a very convincing invoice.”
